- Set Up: Place the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu on a clean cloth or altar. Arrange all the items of the pooja kit nearby.
- Kalash Sthapana: Fill a clean vessel with water, place it on a bed of rice, and decorate it with flowers. This represents the presence of the deity.
- Invocation: Light the lamp using ghee and incense sticks. Chant prayers and mantras invoking the blessings of Lord Vishnu.
- Offerings: Offer tulsi leaves, flowers, raw rice, milk, curd, honey, fruits, and sweets to the deity while chanting Vishnu mantras.
- Aarti: Wave the camphor flame in front of the deity while singing Aarti songs.
