Shiv Rudrabhishek Kit, Rudrabhishek Items, Shiv Pooja Items:

Shiv Rudrabhishek is a powerful Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, involving the pouring of holy substances like water, milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and other items on the Shiva Linga while chanting Vedic mantras. The ritual is believed to invoke blessings, remove negative energies, and bring peace and prosperity. Here’s a description and process for performing Shiv Rudrabhishek and using our Rudrabhishek kit:

Shiv Rudrabhishek Kit Components:

1. Shiva Linga or representation of Lord Shiva: The focal point of the ritual, representing the deity.
2. Panchamrit (a mixture of five ingredients): Consisting of milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and sugar/ jaggery.
3. Water: Used for purification and ablution of the Shiva Linga.
4. Vibhuti (sacred ash), Belpatra (bilva leaves), and flowers: Offerings to Lord Shiva.
5. Incense sticks, camphor, and lamp: Used during aarti (ritual of waving light).
6. Bell and conch shell: For sound and religious significance.

9. Safed or Pila Chandan Powder (white/Yellow Sandalwood Powder)

Kindly Note: Panchamrit Items or items such as Milk & Yogurt also Items such as sweets and flowers are not included in the packet as these are supposed to be bought freshly from the market during the day of the pooja/worship. 

Process to Perform Rudrabhishek:

1. Preparation:
   • Clean the area and set up the Shiva Linga on a pedestal or platform.
   • Arrange the Rudrabhishek kit items and keep them ready for the ritual.
2. Invocation:
   • Begin by invoking Lord Shiva’s presence by chanting mantras and prayers.
   • Offer flowers, bel leaves, vibhuti while chanting.
3. Rudrabhishek:
   • Perform the Abhishek (ritualistic bathing) of the Shiva Linga using the Panchamrit and water while reciting Rudra Sukta or other Vedic hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva.
   • Each offering is accompanied by specific mantras, devotionally poured onto the Shiva Linga.
4. Offerings and Aarti:
   • Offer vibhuti and belpatra along with incense sticks and lamp aarti.
   • Chant “Om Namah Shivaya” or other Shiva mantras during aarti.
5. Concluding the Puja:
   • Conclude the Rudrabhishek by seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings for peace, prosperity, and well-being.
   • Distribute Prasad among attendees.
